Formula Overview
BuildMate uses industry-standard brick dimensions with mortar to deliver accurate material counts.
- Net wall area = Length x Height - Opening area
- Standard brick including mortar = 210 mm x 110 mm
- Average bricks per m^2 = 45.45 pieces
- Mortar volume = Net area x 0.015 m^3
Example: 10 m wall x 3 m height with 4 m^2 openings gives a net area of 26 m^2, resulting in about 1,182 bricks.
