Formula Overview
We apply standard mix proportions to convert volume into individual material quantities.
- Volume = Length x Width x Thickness
- Cement = Volume x 7 bags per cubic metre
- Sand = Volume x 0.42 cubic metres
- Gravel = Volume x 0.84 cubic metres
Example: A 5 m by 4 m slab at 0.15 m thickness has a volume of 3 m^3. Materials: 21 cement bags, 1.26 m^3 sand, 2.52 m^3 gravel.
